Have your evening out – in!
Join singer and jazz pianist Andrew D. Brewis for this specially recorded streaming concert celebrating musical theatre.
For his third ‘Live In Your Living Room’ concert, Andrew is honouring the darkened playhouses of the West End and Broadway with a tribute to the legends of musical theatre, past and present. He won’t promise any dance routines - but from the early days of Irving Berlin to the intimate charm of My Fair Lady and even the epic sweep of Phantom of the Opera, you can expect an evening of theatrical magic, all conjured by Andrew and a beautiful Steinway grand piano.
This is a chance to see and hear a master of his craft perform the classic Broadway songbook in a distinctly British style that Andrew’s honed over 30 years and four continents. And he’s recorded this show especially to help small venues like ours raise funds and keep our audiences entertained at this challenging time.
So put on your comfiest slippers, grab the rustliest bag of sweets you like and settle down in the best seats in the house – your house.
Just fire up YouTube on your Smart TV, tablet or computer and let him transport you to the West End.
Keeping the Lights On will be available to stream from 7pm on Tuesday 17th November until 10pm on Thursday 19th November at www.andrewdbrewis.com/epsom where you can also find a sneak preview of his show.
‘Admission’ is free, but this year has been hard on both performing artists and the venues they call home. You can do your bit towards “Keeping The Lights On” by making a donation at the same address, which will be shared between Andrew and the Epsom Playhouse. We thank you in advance for your support.
