240-litre brown garden waste bins cost £57.70 each per year if paid by Direct Debit or £63.35 each per year if you pay by another method.
There is no limit to the number of bins you can subscribe to. Subscriptions are based on a twelve-month, non-refundable agreement.
A 50% discount is available for recipients of certain means-tested benefits. You must apply for this discount in person at the Town Hall. You must provide an original document as proof of benefits.
When will collections take place?
Garden waste must be loose and contained within your bin
Do not put sacks or bags in your bins. They cannot be composted and may cause the whole recycling load to be rejected.
We cannot collect bins that are overflowing and dangerous to put on our bin-lifts.
Renewing your subscription after twelve months
If you subscribe by Direct Debit you don't need to do anything. We'll simply notify you that we are calling on your Direct Debit to renew your subscription for another twelve months.
If you pay by another method, we'll contact you to ask if you wish to pay again and renew your subscription.

Garden waste at the tip
Following the further, phased re-opening of the tip, we are advised that there have been extremely heavy traffic queues for the tip. We advise you only to go if it is essential.
Surrey County Council's Community Recycling Centre (the tip) at Blenheim Road accepts garden waste for recycling.
This week the tip is open 8am - 6pm. Next week (starting Monday 8 June) it changes to opening 8am - 4pm.
Social distancing and traffic management will be in place. Expect significant queues at the present time and only visit the tip if it essential.
People bringing waste to the tip in a van, trailer or pick-up will, as usual, still need a van permit.
