"Join the Epsom Symphony Orchestra, once again under the baton of Darrell Davison, for a great evening of light entertainment. An Elgar arrangement of Handel's Overture in D minor opens the concert, followed by Brahms' Violin Concerto, expertly performed by Ionel Manciu - a previous winner of the Croydon Concerto Competition. Described by Classic FM as being cheery and lyrical, and drawing inspiration from Bohemian folk music, Dvorak's Eighth symphony completes the programme; so there really is something for everyone."
